This paper addresses the importance of active methodologies focusing on the flipped classroom as a methodological resource to strengthen the teaching-learning process. Developed through the Fortalecendo Saberes project, which aims to enhance the competencies and skills necessary for effective teaching, the project seeks to foster student protagonism. The initiative integrated various areas of knowledge, aiming to incorporate actions into the school routine that address gaps caused by factors affecting the teaching-learning process. The project employed a methodology that included conducting a diagnostic assessment to collect data on learning levels, participant observation, and active listening to analyze the socio-emotional aspects of students, as well as the frequency of flipped classroom usage by teachers. Based on the results, suggestions for improvement were proposed. The goal was to significantly enhance the performance of teachers and student engagement, encouraging reflection on the importance of continuous learning and integrating active methodologies into pedagogical practices, which are essential for the effective acquisition of knowledge.
